Terms of Service
These terms apply to everyone who uses MediMets: patients who book, and doctors and their staff who use the dashboard. By using the site you agree to them.
What MediMets is
MediMets is a technology platform. It lets doctors publish a booking page, take payments into their own Razorpay account and run video consultations or clinic visits. MediMets does not give medical advice. Each doctor is independently responsible for the care they provide, for following India’s Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020, and for their own registration, fees and refund decisions.
For patients
- Fees are paid in advance to confirm your slot. The amount goes to the doctor.
- Not for emergencies. In a medical emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital.
- Give accurate information so the doctor can advise you safely. The doctor may ask you to visit in person.
- For video calls, join on time with a stable connection. For clinic visits, arrive a few minutes early.
- Don’t record a consultation without the doctor’s permission.
- Cancellations and refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
For doctors
- Accounts are created by invitation. Keep your password private; you’re responsible for what is done with your account.
- Information on your page (qualifications, registration number, fees, address) must be true and kept up to date.
- New practices get a free trial. After that, MediMets costs the fee shown on the Billing page for the period shown there. If it isn’t paid, the dashboard is locked and new bookings pause; appointments already booked still go ahead.
- You connect your own Razorpay account with its API keys in Settings → Payments & Calendar. Keep the Key Secret private; you can change or disconnect the keys there at any time.
- You decide whether to refund patients, and refunds come from your own Razorpay account.
- We may pause a page that breaks these terms or the law, or put patients at risk.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service running but can’t promise it will always be available. Video calls, payments and messages depend on Google, Razorpay and other providers. As far as the law allows, MediMets is not liable for medical outcomes or for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid MediMets in the last 12 months.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
