MediMets

Privacy Policy

MediMets is an online booking platform for doctors. Each doctor has their own page where patients book video consultations or clinic visits. This policy explains what ADS TECHNOLOGIES (“MediMets”, “we”) collects, why, and who it is shared with.

Patients

When you book, we collect:

  • your name, mobile number, email, age and gender;
  • the health information you write in the booking form, and any reports you choose to upload;
  • the consultation type, date and time you choose, and the payment reference from Razorpay.

We use this only to book and run your appointment: to show it to your doctor, create the video call (or calendar entry for a clinic visit), and send your confirmation, reminder and any cancellation by email, WhatsApp or SMS. Your doctor decides how your health information is used for your care and is responsible for their medical records.

Doctors and their staff

  • Account details: name, email, a securely hashed password, and sign-in records (time, IP address and browser) to protect the account.
  • The public profile and consultation types the doctor publishes.
  • Plan payments for MediMets (amount, date and Razorpay payment ID).

Google user data

Doctors can choose to connect Google. We ask only for what each feature needs:

  • Google Calendar (calendar.events): to add each confirmed booking to the doctor’s own calendar with a Google Meet link (or the clinic address for a clinic visit), and to remove it if the booking is cancelled. We work only with the events MediMets creates; we don’t read, copy or change the doctor’s other events.
  • Sign in with Google (openid, email, profile): to let a doctor or administrator sign in to an existing account with the same Google email. We use the email address only to find that account.

Google access tokens are stored encrypted and used only for these purposes. We don’t sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or let people read it except where the doctor asks us to help, for security, or where the law requires. MediMets’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. A doctor can remove MediMets’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and can ask us to delete the stored tokens by writing to the address below.

Payments

Consultation fees are paid to the doctor’s own Razorpay account; the MediMets plan is paid to MediMets. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay’s secure checkout, and we never see or store them. A doctor who connects Razorpay gives us the API keys of their own account so we can create payment orders and refunds there; the secret key is stored encrypted.

Who we share data with

Only the services needed to run the platform: Razorpay (payments), Google (calendar and video calls), Cloudinary (private storage of uploaded reports), Resend (email), Meta WhatsApp and MSG91 (messages), and our hosting, database and caching providers. Each receives only what its job needs. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Uploaded reports are private and can be opened only through signed links shown to the doctor. The admin team sees booking and payment status but not patients’ health information or reports.

How long we keep it and your rights

We keep data while the doctor’s account is active and as long as the law requires for medical and payment records. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent to messages, by writing to us. We’ll reply within 30 days. Some records may have to be kept by law.
